Welcome to Surana Art,
It started in 1980’s when my Dad Mr.Ashok Surana came to Mumbai & started his business under the guidance of his elder brother Mr Pukhraj Surana (a well known living legendary numismatist)
Very soon he established himself as a numismatist & an art dealer in mumbai. His knowledge, experience & reasonable pricing helped many collectors build up their collection.
Many would come to him for deciphering & valuation of their coins. He never denied any of them. He holds the experience of handling many collections & creating many new collectors & investors of his time.
A couple of decades past in his journey. It was in 2003, at the age of 18, his son Amit Surana, a jewellery designer from JPDC,

Mumbai joined him. Being a Jewellery designer he was fascinated by the art of Old Silverware. He very soon established himself as an art dealer. It was in 2007 he attended a coin exhibition in pune. There he met Gev Kias a gentleman & one of the senior most collectors of British India coins. Under his inspiration & guidance he entered the coins world. Today he has established himself as a numismatist in India.
Surana Art was established as a firm in Mumbai 2007. We entered the ebusiness market in 25th May 2006 through ebay India. There we opened an ebay store. We also became powersellers there for our regular successful e-business & high buyer satisfaction. We have more than 300 positive feedbacks with 100% buyer satisfaction. Surana Art launched its 1st website www.suranaart.com on 31st Dec 2010.

Ashok Surana BCom graduate is a life member of the Gujarat coin society. He specializes in Mughal & Indian Princely State Coins He handles all the accounts of Surana Art. Amit Surana is a Jewellery Designer from JPDC Mumbai. Also certified for Imports & Exports & Effective Public speaking. He specializes in British India Coins, manages all e-business & Old Silver Business. He is a life member of the Mumbai Coin Society & The Kanyakumari District Philatelic & Numismatic Association.
